I'm trying to put together my first PC build and could use some advice. I've put together a list of parts, but I'm not sure if they are all compatible or if I've missed anything essential. Here's what I'm looking at:
- GIGABYTE B850 AORUS Elite Motherboard
- AMD Ryzen™ 7 9700X 8-Core Processor
- GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB GPU
- Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB)
- Seagate BarraCuda 4TB Internal HDD
- CORSAIR RM850x Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply
- WD_BLACK 2TB SN8100 NVMe SSD
- CORSAIR 4000D RS ARGB Frame Modular Mid-Tower Case
I haven't purchased anything yet, so let me know if this looks good!

For your motherboard, I'd recommend checking out the MSI Pro B650-P WiFi board. I recently picked one up for around $150, and it has better quality than ASRock, based on what I've seen. As for RAM, Kingston Fury DDR5 has good deals; I got mine for $157 in-store instead of the online price of $230. And about the 8TB storage, it might be more than you need—2 to 4TB is usually sufficient.
I've heard that ASRock motherboards can be a bit troublesome with AM5 CPUs, so you might want to steer clear of them. The B850 motherboard seems like a solid choice unless there's a special feature you need from the X870E chipset. Also, I noticed you're going for a more compact power supply while using a full-size ATX case—consider switching to a standard ATX PSU for better compatibility.
