Need Advice on Parts for My First Gaming PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm building my first gaming computer and I'm looking for some advice on parts. My budget is around $1500, but I'd love to keep it a bit lower if possible. I've got some older components gifted by friends that I plan to use, and I've been using ChatGPT along with some videos to figure out what to buy. I already have three hard drives with plenty of storage that should work well with what I've picked so far. Here's my current part list: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QnXrgn](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QnXrgn). Would really appreciate some input on my choices!

Just a heads up—relying on AI for your builds might lead to some wrong moves. You really want to think for yourself to avoid making poor design choices. It’s a bit wild how many people lean on AI for this stuff!

You should go for two RAM sticks instead of one; it’s more stable and offers better speed. Also, save your money and skip buying a Windows key—it’s not necessary!

You can always borrow a Windows key too!

Thanks for the tip! I must've added that by mistake, haha.

Definitely include the link from PCPartPicker instead of just an image. From what I see, consider getting a 2x32GB RAM kit instead of 4x16GB. Opt for a 9600X CPU over the 7600 and switch to a 5070 instead of a 4070. The RM750X PSU is solid but may be pricier than necessary.

Here’s a list I made that stays within your budget and includes some upgraded parts: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qhYFkf](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qhYFkf). I swapped the GPU for a 5070 Ti, upgraded the CPU cooler to a Noctua NH-D15, and opted for a 1000W tier A PSU for possible future upgrades. I've also added more fans and a nicer RAM set while removing the Windows key!

The 7600X is a good deal and pretty efficient. If you're looking for a cooler, try the Peerless Assassin 120 SE—it’s cheaper and effective! You might want to drop one of the RAM slots and think about getting a 5070/5070 Ti or a 9070 instead of the 4070 since it's been discontinued. Also, look for a cheaper PSU!
