Need Advice on RAM Selection for My Build

I'm building a PC and I'm completely new to this. Here's what I have so far:
- **Motherboard:** ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI (X870 chipset, DDR5 8000+, PCIe 5.0, WiFi 7).
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (8 Cores / 16 Threads, up to 5.2GHz Turbo).
- **SSD:** 4TB Kingston FURY Renegade Gen5 NVMe SSD (Speeds up to 14,800 MB/s).
- **GPU:** ASUS TUF GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5080 (16GB GDDR7).
- **Cooler:** ASUS TUF GAMING LC II 360 Aura Sync Liquid Cooler (360mm radiator, 350W TDP).
- **PSU:** 1000W Be Quiet! Straight Power 12 (BN338, 80 PLUS Platinum).
- **Case Fans:** 7x Be Quiet! Pure Wings 3 PWM 120mm.
- **Case:** ASUS TUF GT502 GAMING.

I'm now stuck on what RAM to choose. The options on the website (itworks.lt) are:
- GOODRAM IRDM GAMING 16GB (1x16) — Included
- GOODRAM IRDM GAMING 32GB (2x16) — +188.00€
- GOODRAM IRDM GAMING 64GB (4x16) — +545.00€
- G.SKILL RIPJAWS M5 NEO 32GB (2x16) — +292.00€
- G.SKILL TRIDENT Z5 64GB (2x32) — +760.00€

All options are DDR5 and run at 6000MHz. I'm a bit hesitant about GOODRAM because a coworker mentioned that they have a lot of issues, so I'm a bit scared about going with them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say go with the 32GB option. 16 is a bit on the low side and 64GB is pricey. The GOODRAM lacks RGB, while the G.Skill kits do offer it, but that's up to you if you want to shell out for the looks.

Honestly, if your budget allows it, the GOODRAM option is fine. RAM is RAM at some level. It's crazy to see such a powerful build when you're just getting started! You can also find various YouTube videos that compare RAM performances, which might help you decide.

In your case, you really don't need to splurge on high-end RAM given that you're using an X3D CPU. The extra cache helps balance things out. So, don't stress too much about picking premium RAM; you should be fine with a standard 32GB kit.

Totally agree with this! The X3D CPU is solid enough to make the RAM speed difference less critical.

If you're worried about heat, I'd recommend sticking with a Gen4 SSD instead of Gen5, as the newer ones can run hotter than expected. Just a thought!

For someone new to PCs, you've picked quite a solid setup. If budget isn't a big concern, go for the 32GB CL30 kit. Brand names usually don't matter too much because most RAM is made by just a handful of manufacturers. You might want to consider how much RAM you'll actually need, though!
