I want to play upcoming games like Arc Raiders, BF6, Tarkov, RE9, and GTA next year, so it's crucial for me to upgrade. Should I just hold onto my current CPU a little longer? I've heard switching from AM4 to AM5 is a bad idea, but I'm uncertain if there's a worthy AM4 upgrade. What should I do?

You don't necessarily need a 5800 X3D! The 5800X is a solid choice for running games like Tarkov. The performance gain from the X3D is just a small bump, maybe around 10% in some games. You might actually hit a GPU bottleneck in BF6 with the RX 9060 XT at full HD, so just keep that in mind.
