I'm looking to upgrade my business communication system and have narrowed it down to Nextiva and 8x8. I'm specifically interested in features like call routing, VoIP reliability, effective CRM integration, helpdesk capabilities, scalability, and solid analytics options. From what I gather, 8x8 offers great analytics and international calling, while Nextiva seems to excel in collaboration features and user-friendliness. If anyone has experience with either of these systems or has suggestions for alternatives that might be a better fit, I would really appreciate your advice!

I've been using Nextiva for about a year now, and I can say it checks off most of your requirements. The call routing is pretty intuitive, and we've experienced excellent uptime. The integration with our CRM has been seamless, too. While I've heard that 8x8 tends to have better analytics, Nextiva's reporting works fine for our daily needs, and the collaboration tools help keep our remote teams on the same page.
If you're deeply integrated with Salesforce, I’d recommend checking out Vonage. Their CRM integration is top-notch, with strong analytics capabilities that really help improve business performance. Between 8x8 and Vonage, both are solid bets, but I would stay clear of RingCentral and Nextiva based on some feedback I've gathered.
We use RingCentral, and it's been fantastic as a unified communications platform. Call quality is always clear, and the flexible routing rules make it easy to customize. The analytics help us track performance effectively, and the mobile app is a lifesaver when we're not in the office. Scaling up is also straightforward, making it a reliable choice for our team.
I had a tough time with Nextiva. We faced multiple issues during migration, and their support didn’t seem to care much when our phones went down. They promised features that they couldn't deliver, and the mobile app was more trouble than it was worth. I strongly recommend looking at other options like Zoom; we switched to them and couldn't be happier.
Totally agree! I felt like they just didn't understand the needs of mid-sized businesses. It was a frustrating experience all around.

Exactly! The reliability is a big plus for us as well. We don’t need super advanced analytics, so the built-in reporting fits our needs perfectly. Plus, the colab features are a bonus that shouldn't be underestimated.
