I just got my new MacBook, set it up, and now I'm stuck at the login screen because my password isn't working. I've attempted to reset it using my phone, but no luck. I can't restart the laptop or connect an external keyboard since it only has USB-C ports. What can I do to get into my laptop?

I’m really losing it over this! Someone, please help me figure it out.
Listen, we can't help you get into a locked device. It's important to make sure you're using the password you set up during installation, not your Apple ID password. If this is too confusing, calling Apple might be your best bet.
Have you tried reaching out to Apple directly? They can help sort this out for you.
If you're having trouble, just give 1-800-MY-APPLE a call. They should be able to assist you with the password issue.
Are you sure you’re using your MacBook password and not your iCloud password? They can often be confused, especially if you have multiple Apple accounts.
Before calling Apple, you might want to check their support site first. They can guide you through the process, though I wonder why you can’t restart your Mac. By the way, if you need to connect USB-A devices, having a USB-C hub or dock would be necessary.

This sounds a bit sketchy, honestly. Usually, issues like this arise when people are dealing with stolen devices. Definitely reach out to Apple for genuine help.
