Hey everyone! I'm looking to invest in a new computer specifically for game development and art creation. I plan to run programs like Unreal Engine 5, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Painter/Designer, often switching between them. I've put together a build with a budget around $3,500 (in Swedish Krona) and I want to ensure everything is balanced before I place the order. Here's what I have so far:

- Fractal Design North XL (Black) — $205.52
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (4.3 GHz, 144 MB) — $833.89
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB X3 OC — $1,028.04
- ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI — $217.01
- Kingston 96GB (2x48GB) DDR5-6000 — $438.29
- Crucial T500 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 — $182.56 each (2) = $365.12
- Arctic P14 PWM PST (Black) — $13.47
- be quiet! Silent Wings 4 120mm — $31.21 each (2) = $62.42
- Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 (Black) — $104.28
- be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum 850W — $229.53
- Assembly & test service — $104.28

Just wanted to double-check if my choices make sense before I finalize the order. Thanks a bunch!

I have to agree, the assembly cost feels quite high! Honestly, for that amount, I’d consider trying to build it yourself unless you're not comfortable with it. It can save some cash and is a fun learning experience!

Haha, totally! I tried building one last time and it was a bit of a disaster, so I'm leaning towards getting help this time.

You might want to reconsider the RTX 5070 Ti; with your budget, you could likely afford a 5080 which would really boost your productivity for game development. Also, 64GB of RAM is plenty unless you plan to do some heavy multitasking. Plus, look into getting a 4TB NVMe drive instead of the two 2TB ones. That way you get more storage and still have room for upgrades later.

Just get a MacBook!

Have you checked for better deals? Sometimes it’s worth it to see if you can ferry over to Finland and grab parts there for cheaper. Also, do you have a PC part picker list for your build? That could help get feedback on compatibility!
