Hey everyone! I've been using my gaming laptop for about three years now, but it's really struggling with heavy modded games like Skyrim at 4K graphics. I'm looking to build a solid gaming PC with a budget between $1000 and $1500. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Does your budget need to cover peripherals or a monitor as well? If you can separate those costs, that might give you more room for the main setup.
I crafted a part list for you that fits right in at about $1492.30:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 6-Core Processor
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Assassin X
- **Motherboard**: ASRock B650M-H Micro ATX
- **Memory**: Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB DDR5
- **Storage**: 1TB Silicon Power NVME SSD
- **GPU**: ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 16GB
- **Case**: Phanteks Eclipse G370A
- **PSU**: Cooler Master MWE Gold 750W
- **Wi-Fi Adapter**: Intel AX210
This setup should give you excellent gaming performance!
If there's a Micro Center nearby, that's a great place to get parts. Otherwise, consider building a budget AM4 platform with either a 4070 or 5070 graphics card. You can get quality performance without breaking the bank.
Are the options really that limited for $1500? I'd like to get something solid.

Is there any chance I can go for an Nvidia card instead? I’ve heard AMD might have issues with some heavy mods. What are your thoughts on Nvidia versus AMD for gaming?
