I'm trying to build my own PC and I could really use some help! I've picked out some parts, but I need advice on how to lower the costs or possibly swap out for cheaper alternatives. Here's what I'm looking at: an AMD Ryzen B650 Aorus motherboard, Ryzen 5 9000 series CPU, Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM, 990 Evo Plus SSD, a Y40 case, four Corsair RS120 ARGB fans, a Nautilus 240 RS ARGB AIO cooler, a MWE 750 Gold V2 power supply, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 380. Any suggestions for keeping this build affordable without sacrificing too much performance?

Have you considered checking out local classifieds or looking for sales at various retailers? Sometimes you can find great deals on parts, especially if you're willing to buy used components. Also, if you're not set on the RTX 380, looking for a slightly older GPU could save you a lot. Many gamers are upgrading to the latest models and selling their old ones for a good price!
Your total looks decent for a gaming build, but if you're aiming to save more, consider downgrading the CPU to something like the Ryzen 7 5800X. It should still give you strong performance for gaming while being a bit easier on the wallet. You could also check if a different brand of SSD offers similar performance at a lower price—prices can vary a lot!
Good tip about the CPU! I’ll look into that and see how it affects my overall build.

That's a great idea! I'll check out local listings and see what I can find.
