Need Help Building an AM5 PC for General Use

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC using an AM5 setup. I want to go with the Liam Li A3 case and need your advice on the configuration. The main tasks will be web surfing, movie watching, and using Photoshop for personal photo editing—no gaming for me! I was thinking of the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor, which I hear doesn't have a GPU. Since I won't be gaming, would it be better to get a processor with integrated graphics instead? What would be a good equivalent to the 7500F?

If I stick with the 7500F, I'm considering the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE for cooling, an FSP Hydro K Pro G5 850W PSU, a Kingston KC3000 500GB M.2 PCIe SSD for my system, and Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz RAM. For the GPU, I might go for a second-hand Sapphire RX6600 Pulse 8GB, and the motherboard would be a Biostar B650MT. Can anyone confirm if this setup fits in the Liam Li A3 case?

For your usage, a CPU with integrated graphics would definitely help, especially since the 7500F doesn't. An Intel chip could be more suitable; let me know if you want specific recommendations!

I’m open to Intel options! What do you think would be a competitive choice?

You've got a solid build but it's quite powerful for what you need! If you're okay with a few adjustments, consider the Ryzen 5 8600G and a smaller SSD size—256GB or 512GB should suffice. This setup will still handle 4K videos smoothly!

Thanks for the recommendation! Does this motherboard fit in the Liam Li A3 case?

If you're looking for alternatives to the 7500F, consider the Ryzen 7600 or even an Intel 15th Gen chip for editing and casual use. They should fit your needs without being overkill. Plus, use PCPartPicker to check compatibility!

You make a good point! Would switching to Intel mean changing my motherboard too? I heard AMD runs cooler overall.

Honestly, if you're not gaming, you might not even need all this power. A mini PC may be a simpler solution for your needs. Check out options like this one on Amazon!

I appreciate the suggestion! I’m looking for more customization options, though. Would love to hear your thoughts on my setup!
