I'm considering an upgrade for my gaming PC since I'm having issues running multiple tabs, Discord, and games at the same time. My current specs are: an RTX 4060 GPU, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, an ASUS Prime B450-Plus motherboard, and 16 GB of RAM (2x8 G.Skill, which I'm suspecting is on the slower side). I'm looking to upgrade to 32 GB of RAM and I also want to improve my CPU performance. However, I can't find the Ryzen 5700X3D or 5800X3D for less than $500 in Australia, so I'm wondering what other options I might consider. Is it worth upgrading to AM4 components over moving to an AM5 motherboard, CPU, and GPU? My motherboard appears to support RAM speeds up to 3200 MHz. Any advice would be appreciated!

You really don't need the X3D CPU for your upgrade. The Ryzen 5700X is a great option and you can get it for around $130. It's still a solid performer for gaming and multitasking without breaking the bank.
Is the 5800X worth the extra $20 compared to the 5700X? I'm wondering if the upgrade is justified.
