Need Help Choosing a CPU with Integrated Graphics for My New Build

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC since my current one (with an i5 6600k and GTX 1070) isn't supported by Windows 11 anymore, and Windows 10 support is ending soon. I want to transfer my Windows license to the new system and repurpose my old PC for Linux. It's been a while since I built my last PC, and I'm pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there!

I need a CPU that comes with integrated graphics, as I'm not planning to buy a discrete GPU right away. I do plan to get a mid-range GPU in the future, so it's important that the CPU can pair well with it. I don't need top-of-the-line performance, just something reliable that will last as long as my 2016 build did. If possible, I'd like to keep the total build cost under $1,000, but I can stretch my budget a bit for better components. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What’s your main usage for the new build? Also, do you have a budget in mind? It’ll help narrow down the options a lot!

I primarily want to use it for everyday tasks like Excel, YouTube, and surfing the web. For gaming, I’ll stick with my old PC for now (playing games like Rimworld and Minecraft), but I do plan to add a GPU in a year or so. Ideally, I want the new build to cost under $1,000, but I'm flexible for quality parts.
