Need Help Choosing a Power Supply and Confirming My Build

I'm considering upgrading my PC and I've put together a potential build that includes the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor, an ASROCK B550M Pro4 motherboard, Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR4 RAM, an ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, and the Apexgaming AG-750M V2 750W Gold Fully Modular Power Supply. However, I'm a bit unsure about the power supply's reliability because I've heard it has issues with fan noise. I'm looking for a fully modular power supply in the 650-750W range for around 90 euros or less. If anyone has recommendations or can confirm if this supply is suitable for my build, I'd really appreciate it!

Honestly, I'd steer clear of the AM4 platform if you're planning to build in 2025—considering how quickly technology moves. Have you looked at the AM5 CPUs? They’re not too pricey and offer a much better upgrade path for future enhancements.

I probably will stick with AM4 for now, just trying to manage my budget. I’ll need to look into AM5 once I have more time, thanks for the tip!

Take a look at the Cultist PSU tier list. Aim for a power supply rated tier C or better that fits your budget. The Apexgaming is decent but noisy, so it might be worth considering alternatives. If you’re open to it, the 9060XT GPU could also be a solid choice instead of the 5060 Ti, depending on the price.

I’m thinking about the 9060XT now, sounds good! But the PSU tier list confused me a bit; I don't have the time to dig in right now. I’ll have to revisit that later.

I'd recommend aiming for an 850W PSU just in case you decide to upgrade in the future; it gives you more headroom for power. Plus, it could be beneficial down the line as your system evolves.

Yeah, but I don’t plan on upgrading for at least two years, and I feel like the fans will wear out by then anyway. I’d rather stick to something reliable now.
