I'm dealing with some frustrating RAM and GPU prices and now I'm stuck with two options for my build:
A. Ryzen 5 8400F paired with a Biostar B650MT motherboard and a Gigabyte RTX 5060 Eagle GPU.
B. Ryzen 7 5000F with a Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard and an RTX 5050.
I'm leaning towards option A since it seems more balanced, but I'm not familiar with Biostar as a brand. The other option is decent too, but it includes the weaker 5050 card instead of the 5060. I'm primarily into playing CS2 and thinking of adding other games like Apex. Any advice on which combo I should go with?

I'd steer clear of option B. If both options are around the same price, option A is a much better choice. It's surprising, but I don't have much experience with Biostar either, just know that option A is far superior overall.
Just a heads up, the 5050 can be pretty unstable. Plus, there's not a huge price difference between it and the 5060, which has a more solid performance boost. Definitely consider that when making your choice.
If you’re going for CPU-heavy games like CS2 and Apex, I recommend the Ryzen 7 5000F. The RTX 5060 is about 25% faster than the 5050, but for competitive play, the CPU will be more crucial than the GPU. In the end, both setups have their strengths.
