Need Help Choosing Parts for a New PC Build

I'm looking for some advice on building a new computer since my current setup is about 6 or 7 years old and hasn't had any hardware upgrades. I primarily play World of Warcraft, and lately, my frame rate has dropped to below 20 FPS even on performance settings. In the past, I've enjoyed going to MicroCenter, where they helped me pick components within my budget and assembled everything for me. However, I'm starting to wonder if I'm getting the best recommendations for my needs. I'm not very familiar with all the different parts and would appreciate any guidance! My budget is around $2,500, but I'm okay with spending a little less if possible. Thanks in advance for your help! My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor and a Radeon RX 590 GPU.

If you're near a MicroCenter, that’s great! They often have some fantastic combo deals for CPUs and motherboards that you can take advantage of. Given your budget, I would recommend looking at a newer Ryzen processor, perhaps something from the Ryzen 5000 series, which would give you a significant performance boost in games like WoW. For the graphics card, a Radeon RX 6700 XT or even an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti would be excellent choices for better FPS. Don't forget about good cooling and a power supply that can handle your new setup!

Just to add, if you go for higher-end components, make sure your case has good airflow to keep everything cool. You don’t want your system throttling during long gaming sessions!

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely check out those CPU and GPU options.
