Need Help Choosing Parts for My Next PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm currently working on my next PC build but I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to choosing the best components. I would really appreciate any suggestions, especially about RAM, SSDs, and case fans.

Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU**: Intel 9700X
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850 Gaming with WiFi 6
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120
- **RAM**: 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws S5 (5600 CL28)
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2TB NVMe ( thinking about switching to a 1TB to save money for now)
- **Case**: NZXT H6 Flow (comes with 3 fans, but I think I might need to add more)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM750e (2023)

I'm planning to use a used GPU (maybe a 3080 or 4070) when I find a good deal, but for now, I'll use my old GTX 1080. My reasoning for the 9700X is mainly because of the price and power efficiency compared to other options. I want my cooler to keep temperatures under 70°C while gaming.

I'm uncertain about whether my RAM choice is optimal, as I know AMD CPUs prefer faster RAM. For storage, I want a reliable M.2 SSD since I want to upgrade from my current setup. Lastly, I'm not too picky about aesthetics for case fans—just looking for something black and cost-effective.

Feel free to critique my choices; I'd love to hear your thoughts and get educated on ways to save money without compromising performance!

To keep it simple, building your parts list on PCPartPicker is a great start! It helps spot compatibility issues and budget your spending. It looks like you're on the right track!

Yeah, I did use PCPartPicker! It looks good overall, but I realized I couldn't post a screenshot of my list since I'm not usually on Reddit.
