Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new PC and I could really use some guidance picking the right graphics card. I plan to game at 1080p because I prioritize high FPS and smooth gameplay. I've got a 24" monitor with a native 1440p resolution, which I find perfect for my needs. I've settled on a Ryzen 7 9700x with 64GB of RAM. I mostly play games like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V online, Rust, 7 Days to Die, No Man's Sky, Rocket League, Football Manager, Jedi Survivor, FIFA, NBA games, and Roblox. Right now, I'm considering either the 5060 ti 16GB or the 9060 XT 16GB, both of which fit my budget. My last graphics card was a 3050, and it handled 1080p reasonably well. What do you think would be the best option for me?

I’d recommend going for the 5060 ti 16GB since it’s just a bit more expensive, but it offers some extra features. The 9060 XT is also good and performs slightly behind the 5060, and it should easily handle 1080p gaming.
Just a heads up, playing at 1080p on a 1440p monitor could result in a less-than-ideal image due to pixel density issues. If gaming is your focus, I'd suggest getting a 9600X with 32GB of RAM and using the extra cash to invest in a better GPU.
While both GPUs are decent, if you're aiming for high FPS at 1440p, you might want to consider a 5070 as the minimum for optimal performance.

That’s a good point! But since my monitor is 24 inches and supports 1440p, what does that change?
