I'm building a PC using the Lian Li Lancool 207 case and I want to add a 120mm fan to the rear exhaust. However, I'm not quite sure how to connect it properly. My motherboard is an Asus TUF GAMING B650M-E Wifi, which has headers for only 2 case fans, both rated at 12W. I'm not using the CPU fan or AIO Pump headers since I'm adding an AIO cooler. The case comes with two 140mm front fans that draw 4.08W each, and I'd prefer to keep these fans on separate headers. The issue is with the two 120mm fans located at the bottom of the case; they have a proprietary single 4-pin connector. My new 120mm fan has a daisy chainable splitter at the end. Should I connect the two bottom proprietary fans to the new daisy chain for the rear fan? I'd appreciate any help you can give me! Thanks!

Just a heads up, the Asus motherboard has 12W limits on each header, which is about 1 amp. So make sure the combined power of the daisy-chained fans doesn't exceed that. If the bottom fans are proprietary and can be daisy-chained, it might work out, but keep an eye on those ratings!
You shouldn't worry too much about the connections. According to Lian Li, the fans in your case have specific power requirements. The front fans are ARGB and the bottom fans are PWM, which means they might have different power ratings. Since you plan to use an AIO cooler and are keeping the front fans on separate headers, I recommend connecting the bottom fans directly to your new daisy-chained rear fan. Just make sure not to exceed the power limit of your motherboard's fan header!
Yeah, definitely check the total wattage. If the bottom fans are low enough power draw, chaining them with your new fan should work fine.
Got it! I just want to ensure everything runs smoothly and doesn’t exceed the wattage limits. Thanks for clarifying!
