Need Help Connecting These PC Cables

I'm building my first PC, and I'm feeling totally lost with these cables. They connect to my case's fans, but my motherboard doesn't seem to have the correct hookups for them. I'm looking for guidance on this! I can't upload a picture directly, but I can describe the cables: one is a flat SATA cable that looks like the end of an old iPhone charger, and the other is a box-like connector that resembles an Ethernet cable, with four pins inside. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi.

It sounds like you're dealing with fan connectors for your case. Generally, the flat SATA cable is used for storage devices, but the box-shaped connector with four pins is likely a fan connector. Check your motherboard manual – it should have labels for fan headers. If you can't find those headers, it might be worth looking into a fan splitter cable if there aren't enough ports.

Thanks! I'll check the manual and see if I can find the right connections.
