Need Help Deciding on a Laptop for Linux

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind and I need to get a laptop really quickly. I'm trying to stick to a budget of around $2000. I was initially interested in getting a ThinkPad, but I can't find any available for pickup today in my country. Instead, I stumbled upon the Acer SF16-51-94KH, which seems like a solid deal given its specifications, particularly the Ultra 9 CPU. I'm curious if anyone has experience using Linux on Acer laptops or if you think this model is a good choice for running Linux. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the panic-moment here, but I need to get 10 karma to post anything in this forum! I hope you find the perfect laptop soon!

Honestly, if I had that kind of budget, I would probably avoid Acer altogether. Just my personal preference!

If you're looking for a good Linux laptop, you might want to consider brands that offer custom laptops pre-installed with Manjaro. There's also the Toshiba Satellite series, which is generally solid for Linux.

Always make sure to mention which Linux distribution you're using and share any hardware specifics or error messages when you ask for help with tech stuff! It helps a lot.
