I'm trying to enable Safe Boot on my PC so I can play Call of Duty while stuck indoors during a snowstorm. However, every time I enable Safe Boot, I'm stuck in the BIOS unless I disable it. I switched from Legacy to UEFI and have seen posts about converting MBR to GPT, which I attempted, but it still doesn't work. Disk 1 shows it as converted to GPT, but Disk 0 still says it's MBR. I've also tried using command prompts to convert to GPT, but I keep encountering an 'Error: ox514' indicating that I'm not an admin on my PC, even though my account has admin rights. I've turned off UAC and system restore but I'm still unsure what I'm missing. Did I convert the wrong disk, or am I making a mistake somewhere? Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might have broken your MBR during the conversion process. MBR and Legacy Boot usually point to an older system setup, often seen with Windows 7. If your PC came with Windows pre-installed, be cautious because trying to convert your boot disk improperly can cause issues.

I bought my PC prebuilt, so I didn't install Windows myself. Can messing with the command center really break the MBR?
