Hey everyone! I'm a beginner working on my first PC build, and I need some advice to make sure everything is set up correctly. I'm based in Oman, so I can't order a couple of parts from Amazon or eBay due to high shipping costs. Here's what I have so far:
- **GPU:** XFX RX 5700xt (Used for $155)
- **CPU:** R5-3600 (Aliexpress for $59.83)
- **Cooler:** AMD Wraith Stealth (Amazon for $11.20)
- **Motherboard:** Machimist B450 (Aliexpress for $63)
- **Case:** SNOWMAN CS054 (MOBPC for $51.69)
- **PSU:** Rosewill VSB 650W 80+ Bronze (Amazon for $49.98)
- **Memory:** DDR4 2133MHz (Owned, $0)
- **Storage:** SSD + HDD (Owned, $0)
Any tips or suggestions?

I noticed your RAM is a bit on the slower side; Ryzen 3600 typically performs better with DDR4-2933 or higher. But if you already have that RAM, you're better off designing around it since RAM prices are crazy right now! Also, consider upgrading that Wraith Stealth cooler—it's quite noisy and not the best performance-wise. Maybe check out the Deepcool AG400, which is around $14 on sale right now. By the way, what do you plan to use your system for? Gaming or work?
I’ve used a similar setup with a Ryzen 3600 and the Wraith Stealth cooler for five years. It did great at 1080p gaming, although it struggled a bit with the latest AAA titles if you want max settings. But if you're okay playing with some adjustments, it's a solid performer!
A good idea is to check your build on PC Partpicker; it can highlight any compatibility issues. Just a heads-up, it’s a neat tool for beginners!
You might find better deals on parts at local shops or Facebook Marketplace instead of online! Sometimes you can stumble on great finds there.

Thanks for the insight! That's reassuring to hear.
