Hey everyone! I'm super close to buying my first gaming PC but I could really use some advice on my build before I take the plunge. My budget is around £2400, which needs to cover both the PC and the monitor. I haven't done extensive research yet, so I'm open to any suggestions, especially if you can link me to some useful YouTube videos!

Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard**: Asus TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI ATX AM5
- **RAM**: Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 4 TB M.2 NVME
- **GPU**: PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB
- **Case**: Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA ATX Mid Tower
- **PSU**: Silverstone DA1000R 1000 W 80+ Gold
- **Monitor**: KOORUI 27E3QK 27.0" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz.

You could save around £200 by tweaking your build a bit! Check this link for a modified version of your setup. It looks solid overall though!

What’s your main use for the PC going to be?

GamerNerd42 -

Mostly just gaming; I won't be using it for much else.

Do you really need 64GB of RAM? Most games don't require that much. I’d suggest looking at the 9070XT; it’s about £200 cheaper than the 7900XTX and performs nearly just as well. It even offers better ray tracing. Your build is good overall, though!

Absolutely! Plus, the 9070XT is more energy-efficient and supports FSR 4. If you need more VRAM for productivity, then maybe stick with the 7900XTX, but consider saving that cash for a better monitor or a backup drive!
