Need Help Finalizing My First PC Build!

Hey everyone! I'm excited to put together my first PC and I've compiled a tentative parts list. However, I want to make sure everything will work well together and that I'm not missing anything important. I'm mainly going to use this PC for gaming, so performance is key! Here's what I've got so far:

**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
**CPU Cooler:** ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360 77 CFM
**Motherboard:** ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi ATX AM5
**Memory:** G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30

I'm a bit confused about storage options and whether I should get a heatsink for the SSD. I'm looking at two drives:
**Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB NVME SSD
**Storage:** Crucial P310 w/Heatsink 4 TB NVME SSD

Also, I'm planning on installing 5 case fans—3 reverse and 2 regular—but I'm unsure how to format that correctly on PCPartPicker. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Your build looks solid overall, but I've heard some concerns about ASRock AM5 motherboards potentially damaging CPUs. It might be wise to consider another brand like ASUS or MSI for your motherboard. As for storage, both SSD options are great. The Samsung 990 Pro is faster, but if you want to get a heatsink, the Crucial P310 is also a good choice. Just keep an eye on your cooling to prevent any overheating issues!

What motherboard brands have you had better luck with? I'm also looking for recommendations!

For SSD, speed is essential for gaming, so the Samsung might be the better pick, but check the warranties and reviews!
