I'm looking to finalize a new gaming PC build, especially considering the recent price changes and the approach of future increases. Instead of just upgrading my current setup, I want to go all out and create something powerful that'll last me a few years. My budget is around $4K, and I'm planning to buy the parts from my local Micro Center. I'm definitely leaning towards AMD for both the CPU and the GPU, but I'm open to other suggestions for the rest of the build. Here's what I have so far:
- **Motherboard, CPU, RAM Bundle**: Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS X870E, Crucial Pro 32GB Kit
- **GPU**: XFX 9070 XT Quicksilver
- **NVME**: Samsung 990 PRO 4TB
- **SSD**: Seagate 8TB
- **PSU**: Corsair 1200 Watt
- **AIO Cooler**: Corsair Nautilus 360mm
- **Case**: Antec Performance Full Tower
I appreciate any advice or modifications you can suggest. Thanks!

Just to clarify your storage choices, are you sure you want an HDD for the 8TB? If you're focusing on gaming, an SSD would be a better option there. As for your build, everything else looks solid!
I think you should consider the 9800X3D bundle instead of the 9950X3D, as the performance difference is minimal for gaming. Plus, if you’re willing to consider alternatives, the 5070 TI or even the 5080 could be better options than the 9070 XT for your GPU.
The main reason I picked the 9950X3D was for the motherboard's features. I heard the MSI boards are a bit lower tier for what I need, like missing the optical audio jack for my headset.
Fair point! If you have a preference for AMD, I understand. Just keep in mind the power cable issues with Nvidia as well!

Yes! You're right. I meant to go for an SSD. Thanks for catching that!
