I'm looking for a reliable tool to convert MSG files to PDF. I've tried using Acrobat but it doesn't recognize MSG files. The converter should do three things: convert the MSG to PDF, include any attachments in separate PDFs, and maintain the original MSG file name for the PDF and its attachments. I'm dealing with 15,000 MSG files, so it needs to be efficient. Does anyone have a recommendation?

There are some free open-source tools out there that could help you with this task. You might want to check out these GitHub projects: `msgtopdf`, `msg2any`, and `email-to-pdf-converter`. The last one looks pretty user-friendly, but you may need to check how they handle attachments first.
If you're comfortable with PowerShell, you can automate the process of converting MSG to PDF. It will require some additional DLLs to properly interact with the file types, but once set up, it could save you a lot of time!
You can convert MSG files by opening them in Outlook and using Ctrl + P to access the print dialog. Choose Adobe PDF as your printer, and make sure to check the options to print attached files. This method will save your attachments as separate PDFs too. Just keep in mind, with thousands of files, this might take a while!
