Need Help Getting Around WiFi Restrictions at Home

Hey everyone,

So here's the deal: I'm 20 years old and my parents keep turning off the WiFi, which has left me without internet on my PC since January. It's getting really frustrating! I'm connected through an Ethernet cable to an extender because my PC isn't compatible with WiFi. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to bypass the TP Link parental controls?

Living at home means you have to follow your parents' rules. If getting your own place is too pricey, maybe a conversation with them could help. Have you thought of that?

Rent where I am is just way too high right now. I have a steady job, but it's still tough to find a place I can afford.

You might want to think about getting a portable hotspot if talking to your parents isn't an option for you. It'll give you internet access on your terms.

If you're comfortable with a little tech setup, you could connect your own router to the WiFi that’s already there. Just make sure it looks like it's part of their setup, and you might not even get caught.

Check out a plan like T Mobile's 5G home internet. It's around $70 a month, and it might be a solid choice if you're stuck.

Why not consider paying for your own internet service? It gives you more control.

Honestly, it might just be time to think about getting your own WiFi. You’re an adult now, and setting up your own plan could really solve this problem.
