I'm new to building PCs and just trying to learn about the components in my system for future upgrades. I have an ASRock B450M/ac motherboard, and I noticed it lists support for DDR4 but not DDR5. Does that mean I can only use DDR4 RAM with this motherboard? Also, I have a pre-built CyberPower PC (SLC7000BST), and I'm having trouble identifying my CPU cooler. The fans say Apevia, and it has a liquid cooling setup, but I can't find any useful info on it. There's just a tag with a long string of letters and numbers that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Any tips on where to look or how to identify my cooler? Thanks!

You’re correct about the cooler. It seems to have the CyberPower branding which usually means it’s a rebranded AIO from another brand, often something like Asetek. Look into that if you're planning upgrades.
Yes, your ASRock B450M motherboard only supports DDR4 RAM, so you're good to go with upgrading to DDR4 without worrying about DDR5 compatibility.

Thanks! If I decide to upgrade my CPU, should I consider changing the cooler too?
