Need Help Installing GT 730 Drivers on Kubuntu 24.04

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to Linux and just set up a dual boot with a minimal installation. After updating everything with 'sudo apt update' and 'sudo apt upgrade', I tried to install the drivers for my NVIDIA GeForce GT 730. Unfortunately, I encountered an error that says 'E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)'. I've already attempted to remove all the Nvidia-related files, but nothing seems to work. Currently, I'm using the nouveau driver. Here are the specs: Model: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730, Chip: GK208B (Kepler), VRAM: 2GB, Manufacturer: Gigabyte (GV-N730D5-2GI). Can anyone assist me with this? I really appreciate your help!

The GT 730 can only use the proprietary Nvidia 390 drivers or older ones, which unfortunately aren’t available in the Ubuntu HWE database for 24.04 and later versions of Kubuntu. I strongly advise against installing them directly from Nvidia, as it could create a mess. Instead, you can use the Graphics Team PPA for installation. Here’s the link: https://launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa. Hope this helps!

I'm sorry, I feel a bit lost with Linux. Would you be able to guide me through adding that PPA?

I just added the Graphics Team PPA, thanks for the tip!
