Need Help Picking a Case and Understanding a BIOS Update Message

I'm building my first computer and need some advice on choosing a case. I have a list of parts including an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and an Asus Prime B450M-A II motherboard. I've read that the motherboard needs a certain BIOS version to support the CPU, but I'm unsure what this means for my build. Also, I'm on a pretty tight budget (around £40-65) for the case. Any suggestions on what case would work for my setup and clarification on the BIOS update?

If you’re buying the motherboard new, you should be good to go since it should support the CPU right out of the box. The BIOS update for Ryzen 5000 series was released years ago, so it's highly unlikely you'll get stuck with an old version of the motherboard. For the case, just look for one that supports ATX or mATX sizes, and the specs should tell you that. All of your parts will fit into most ATX cases. Just keep an eye on the CPU cooler height if you’re investing in an aftermarket cooler, and check if your PSU length is compatible.

Ahhh okay, that makes sense, thanks for clarifying!

Does the CPU come with a stock cooler, or do you need to buy one separately?
