Need Help Securing RAM After Breaking Clips

I messed up while installing my RAM and accidentally broke both clips that hold it in place. Fortunately, the RAM slot itself still works, and the RAM clicks in, allowing my PC to boot up without any issues. However, since the clips are broken, I'm looking for advice on how to best secure the RAM stick to prevent any problems. I was thinking of using some polyimide temp-resistant tape to hold it in place, but I'm open to better suggestions if you have any!

You might want to try using some thick double-sided tape to secure the RAM to the motherboard. Just add a strip to the bottom of the RAM stick to anchor it down. I've seen this done before, and it works pretty well!

So you're suggesting I tape it down to the motherboard? I was thinking of just putting some tape on top of the RAM stick and sticking it down in a spot that hopefully won't interfere with other components. Just to clarify, I have an MSI Z790-P Wifi motherboard; does that change your advice any?
