I just finished putting together my new PC and I'm really excited! Here are the specs: I'm using an ASUS AMD x870-Plus WiFi motherboard, a Ryzen 7 7800x3d CPU, G.Skill DDR5 RAM (48GB), a Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD, an MSI RX580 GPU (which I'm using as a temporary solution until my new GPU arrives), and a 1000-watt MSI power supply. However, when I flipped the PSU switch, some RGB lights on the motherboard lit up, but when I press the power button, nothing happens. I've tried disconnecting the front panel wires from the motherboard and even jumped the pins with a screwdriver, but still no luck. What should I check next? I've double-checked all the power cables too!

Have you checked if everything is properly seated? Sometimes, if the CPU or RAM isn't firmly pressed in, it can prevent the system from powering on. Also, make sure your power supply is set to the right switch position, especially if it has a 110/220V switch.
Good call! I’ll make sure everything is seated correctly. I might’ve been a bit hasty during assembly.
