Hi everyone! I'm not super experienced with building PCs, and I could really use your advice. I want to be able to play new and upcoming games at 1080p with 60fps, but I'm unsure which parts of my setup might need an upgrade soon. Currently, I can still play some recent titles smoothly, like Elden Ring and RE4 Remake, but I'm noticing performance drops with newer games like FF7 Rebirth and Marvel Rivals. I've hesitated to upgrade my graphics card yet, and I'd like guidance on the best path forward.
Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700F
- GPU: AMD RX 6600
- RAM: Kingston KF3200C16D4/8GX 2x8GB
If you need more info on my components, just let me know! Thanks in advance for your help!

The RX 6600 is a solid card for budget 1080p gaming, but it's starting to struggle with more intensive games today. I recommend looking into upgrading to the RX 9060 XT 16 GB for excellent performance at 1080p and a decent amount of VRAM for the latest releases.
Your CPU is still strong, so you'll want to focus your budget on getting a new GPU. What kind of power supply do you have, and what monitor are you using? Also, how much are you looking to spend on the upgrade?
