Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC for gaming, and I'd appreciate any advice. Here are my current specs:
- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-GAMING
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- GPU: RTX 3070
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: 500 GB NVMe M.2 + 1 TB SSD

I'm mainly focused on gaming performance. What upgrades would give me the best boost? I was considering the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but I can't find it since it's been discontinued. Thoughts?

If you're gaming at 1080p, upgrading to an X3D CPU could really help increase your FPS and overall performance. The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is a viable option that's around 5-10% slower than the 5800X3D, and you can usually find it for €200-250. It can improve your performance by 15-30% depending on the game. For graphics, consider the 5060 Ti 16GB, 5070, 5070 Ti, or the 9070/XT, depending on your budget.

Before deciding on upgrades, I'd like to know your budget. You might want to consider upgrading your GPU and RAM first if you have the funds. It could make a significant difference in gaming performance!

Thanks for the reply! My budget is around R$3000 (about 570 USD). If I upgrade the GPU, will I need a new motherboard?
