Need Help Upgrading My PC for Gaming

I'm struggling with a Periphio Portal PC that just isn't cutting it for gaming or even running Windows 11. I keep getting a blue screen error that says "dpc watchdog violation," and the performance is lacking even on the lowest graphics settings. I know I need to upgrade, but I have no idea where to begin. I've got an AMD Athlon 3000G CPU, 16GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics card that just isn't up to the task. Can anyone give me advice on what components I should look at upgrading to improve performance? Do I need to change multiple parts? And how can I ensure everything is compatible? Any guides or resources would really help. Thanks!

Honestly, with your current setup, gaming is going to be really tough. The integrated graphics and CPU can only handle older games at low resolutions. If you want to play newer titles, consider building a new PC altogether. If you're sticking with upgrades, a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 would be good starter cards, provided your PSU supports them. Just remember, you'll likely need to upgrade several components to see a real improvement.

That's what I figured—guess it's time to save up. We can be flexible with the budget too, especially since there are financing options available.

The Periphio Portal is just a case, so first check the system information for the motherboard model. Also, you'll want to find out what kind of PSU you have by opening up the PC. If you suspect it's a 650W, that's decent, but you'll need to confirm it to see if you can upgrade your graphics card without issues.

I found that my PSU does say 'GP-650*' and has an '80 plus bronze' sticker. I hope that helps!

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely check that out.
