Need Help with Blue Screen Issues on My New HP Laptop

Hey everyone, I've run into another blue screen problem on my HP laptop and I'm a bit stuck! The screen is frozen at 100% and restarting hasn't helped after several tries. The last thing I did before this was update to Windows 11 24H2 right before I went to bed. I also updated some drivers using the HP Image Assistant tool earlier, which led to my first blue screen, showing the stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and this file name: amdacpbus.sys. The restart fixed that issue, so I thought it would be safe to proceed with the Windows update. Now, I really need some advice since this laptop is pretty new—I just got it a few months ago and I don't have a recovery point set up, so I'm running out of options! 😢

Have you tried booting into Windows at all? The best fix here might be to do a clean install of Windows from a USB stick. If you can get into your current Windows setup, try to back up your important files first. If you can't, you could use a live OS like Hiren's Boot CD to boot from a USB without installation so you can back up your data before reinstalling.

To properly analyze your BSOD, it’s important to gather the dump files from your system. If you can boot into Windows or even Safe Mode, check in C:WindowsMinidump for any crash log files. If you find some, zip them up and share them via a file-sharing site like mediafire.com. We usually need multiple files to provide the best help!

I’m sorry to hear the CMD solution didn’t work! You mentioned running 'sfc /scannow'—did you manage to get the logs from that? It might help to track down what went wrong. If you’re still having trouble, let us know any specific error messages you encounter!
