I'm in the process of building my very first gaming PC and I've picked out some parts that I like. I've already bought the CPU and GPU, going for the 7800X3D and 9070 XT Pure, so those are set in stone. Now I'm looking for some feedback on the rest of my parts to see if there are any red flags or compatibility issues I should be aware of.
Here's what I've got so far:
- Motherboard: ASRock B650 Steel Legend (the cheapest white motherboard I found, but I'm open to suggestions)
- Cooler: Peerless Assassin 120 SE white
- RAM: Trident Z NEO 32GB RGB 6000 CL30 (I read this works well with the 7800X3D)
- Case: NZXT H7 Flow white RGB
- PSU: Corsair RMX850
- SSD: Samsung 1TB 990 PRO
I'm a bit concerned that the PSU might be a bit pricey at $195, is it worth it? I really want to avoid any issues once I have everything ready. Also, I plan on using this setup with a Samsung G5 ultrawide screen. Are there any better ultrawide alternatives?

You might want to consider upgrading to a B850 or X870 motherboard instead of the B650 Steel Legend. It can support the fastest PCIe available with your CPU and will serve you better in the long run. For the PSU, the Leadex VII 850 is a strong choice—it's both cheaper and more efficient than the Corsair. Overall, Corsair's products have been getting pricey without the best return on quality lately. If you’re looking at cases, the Fractal Pop series is a solid pick for expandability, though you might need to replace the fans. Just make sure your RAM is compatible with your board!
What country are you in? Also, any CL30 6000MHz RAM should work fine, so you're on the right track with your choice.
I'm in Romania.
Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely looking to upgrade my motherboard now that you've mentioned it. I’ll check out the Fractal Pop too.
