Hi everyone! I recently ordered three iPads as gifts for my kids, but when they were delivered, I found that they weren't on my porch. My house is a bit far from the street since it's across the park and I don't have a security camera. I've reached out to customer support, and they informed me that they completed their investigation with the carrier but sadly can't offer a replacement or a refund. This is my first experience with online ordering, even though I've had no issues with other services like Amazon in the past. I really don't want to lose out on $2000 for something that never showed up. What steps can I take now to either get a replacement or a refund? I'd appreciate any advice you can give me to get through this situation!

When you speak to the carrier or file a report, keep it straightforward. Just say the tracking shows the package was delivered but you didn't receive it. No need to over-explain. And absolutely follow up with your credit card company to dispute the charge for a product not received.
If it's really lost, you might want to get in touch with your bank or credit card provider—file a fraud report. Let them handle it from there and see if they can get you your money back.
In the future, consider having Apple products delivered directly to an Apple Store instead. Deliveries can go missing, especially with high-value items like iPads, so avoiding home delivery is a good idea.
You should definitely contact your credit card company right away. They're usually really helpful in cases like this. Also, it might be a good idea to file a non-emergency police report about the missing package. It adds more weight to your case if you need to escalate things further.
Just a little confused here. You say it's your first time ordering online, but you've had stuff from Amazon before? Isn’t that online too? Just trying to understand.
Haha, true! I meant it’s my first time ordering directly from Apple online.
