Need Help with PC Crashes After Upgrading Components

Hey everyone! I'm having significant crashing issues with my computer since I upgraded my graphics card and power supply. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: Asus B650M-A AX II
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5070
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X (6-core)
- RAM: 1 stick of 16 GB Flare X5 DDR4
- PSU: MAG A850 GL
- Monitor: Alienware 2723 DF using a display adapter.

I've tried several solutions: I've installed an M.2 drive, done a fresh install of Windows 11, updated all graphics drivers, and even the firmware for my monitor. I switched out my graphics card (originally I used an open box 7900XT), and tested with a different power supply as well.

I had an old RX 590 GPU that ran perfectly fine on the same motherboard, but ever since the upgrade, my games crash after a while, either restarting my computer or freezing the game entirely. The only thing I haven't attempted yet is getting a second stick of RAM to enable dual-channel. Any advice or insights would really help. Thanks!

What power supply are you currently using? Make sure all your power cables are securely connected too. I noticed that you mentioned you have a MAG A850 GL, which is solid, but just double check that everything is hooked up right. And yeah, it seems like you might need to switch to the correct RAM as well. Good luck!

I did check everything a few times. Thanks for the advice!

It sounds like there might be a compatibility issue with your components. Your CPU and motherboard don't support DDR4 RAM, which could definitely affect stability. Just double-check your motherboard specs to make sure everything aligns. Also, was your old GPU compatible with the types of RAM? That might explain why you didn't have issues before.

If it doesn’t support DDR4, then how was it running fine with my old GPU?
