Hey everyone, I recently picked up a Ryzen 5 3400G along with a Prime A520M-K motherboard, but I've hit a roadblock. I've seen that the box mentions they aren't compatible, and unfortunately, I can't return them. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to make this work?

Yeah, it's definitely compatible! If your BIOS is older than 2803, you’ll need to update it. You can use an older Ryzen CPU to do the update if needed. Just install the 3400G and see if it boots; if not, you might need to do the BIOS update first. It should work fine in most cases!
Don't worry, the Ryzen 5 3400G is actually compatible with that motherboard as long as you have the right BIOS version. You’ll want to check the motherboard's website for the CPU support list. Just make sure you have at least BIOS version 2803 installed, and you should be good to go!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the BIOS version.
Got it, I'll try that! Thanks a lot!
