Need Help with Unifi Aggregation Switch Configuration

I'm struggling to get my 8-port SFP 10GB aggregation switch from Ubiquiti to work as intended. I'm using a UCG Fiber gateway alongside an 18-port Pro Max switch, all from Ubiquiti. I've attempted to set up aggregation with both a Proxmox and VMware cluster.

I have three hosts equipped with 2x10GB SFP modules, but despite setting ports 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 for aggregation, they just won't connect successfully. I configured the bond in Proxmox as LACP203.ad with layer 3/4 filtering enabled. All network ports are using VLAN ID 9. However, once I try to aggregate the ports, they report as offline. I also have an additional NIC on the hosts that utilizes vmbr0 for other network VLANs.

Creating the three bonds is crucial for isolating traffic from management processes and VM network access, particularly since it's meant for Ceph. When I tested VMware, it was aimed at vSAN. Interestingly, I came across some information suggesting the switch might not handle three aggregation links, but even testing with just one link fails.

I'm puzzled about what I'm overlooking here. The Proxmox configuration doesn't include a gateway for the bond VLAN as it's isolated and doesn't need internet. ChatGPT hasn't been much help either, suggesting I should find more options in the Ubiquiti web UI for configuring aggregation—specifically the LACP setting, which seems to be absent. Could this issue relate to the limitations of UCG Fiber's OS versus Unifi OS?
