I'm trying to get enrolled in the Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, but I'm not seeing the option to do so. According to Microsoft's guidelines, my device should meet certain prerequisites: it has to be running Windows 10 version 22H2, I need to have all the latest updates installed, and my Microsoft account has to be an admin account. I'm using an old Dell that I've managed to get running Win 10 Pro, and I've even applied a registry tweak to bypass some eligibility restrictions. My account is set up as an admin, and I just rebooted my PC after installing the latest updates. However, when I go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, the option to enroll in ESU is still missing. What could I be missing? I'm signed in to my Microsoft account on my device.

I read somewhere that the enrollment options are rolling out in phases. According to the last info I saw, they were supposed to start with the tool being available in September. If you’re not seeing it right now, it might just not be your turn yet.
You might also want to double-check that you've installed all necessary updates. In some cases, some updates might not have been applied correctly. Just make sure to check your Windows Update history to confirm everything's up to date!
That's a good point! Sometimes updates can fail silently, so it’s worth investigating your update history to see if anything shows up as needing attention.
It might just be a bit early for you to see the enrollment option. Microsoft isn’t rolling out the full updates until after October 13, so you could be a little ahead of schedule there. Just hang tight, and check back after that date!
Yeah, I think that timing makes sense. Plus, they usually stagger these updates, so it's possible they’ll only release certain features as the deadlines approach.
That’s true! It’s always frustrating with things like this. Just keep an eye out for announcements from Microsoft; they usually provide updates on when features will be available.
