Hey everyone! I'm building a Mini PC for my girlfriend so she can play some games and I could really use your advice on choosing the right CPU cooler. I forgot to include case fans in my list, but I plan to add as many as I can to keep it quiet. Also, I'm not sure if the CPU will be compatible with the motherboard straight out of the box. Can I update the BIOS without having a CPU installed? Here's my PC build list: [link](https://hu.pcpartpicker.com/list/HCPf6Q)

Hey! Looks like your CPU is supported by your motherboard. You can check out the compatibility here: [link](https://pg.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B650I%20Lightning%20WiFi/index.asp#CPU). For a cooler, I suggest starting with this one: [link](https://hu.pcpartpicker.com/product/WW88TW/thermalright-peerless-assassin-mini-6687-cfm-cpu-cooler-peerless-assassin-120-mini-black). If your budget allows, you could always upgrade later. Just remember, you can't update the BIOS without a CPU in place. And by the way, your case should already have two fans installed, which is a nice start!

I think you're right about fit; the full-size Peerless should fit fine since the case is 167 mm max!
