Hey everyone! I just realized that my current setup is running on a 250W power supply, which I had no idea about until now. Here are my specs: GTX 1060 6GB, i5 6400, 16GB DDR4, in a Fujitsu small case with a D3400 A1 motherboard. I recently bought an R5 3600 and a Gigabyte B450M S2H, thinking my power supply would be sufficient, but when I opened the case to swap out the components, I was shocked to find that tiny PSU. After some research, it turns out that it's a miracle my PC has been working at all! I need to upgrade my PSU for sure, especially since I'm planning to get a 3060 Ti soon and potentially a new Ryzen in the future. What power supply would you all recommend?

That 250W PSU is way too low for your parts. You risk damaging your components, and you're likely to see random shutdowns. Definitely replace it with something in the 650W to 850W range as soon as possible!
For your setup, go for a power supply in the range of 750W to 850W. Make sure to choose one that's at least gold-rated. PSUs are relatively affordable unless you're aiming for a top-tier model.
I had a Corsair RM750X when I was running an RTX 3070 with my 5900X. After upgrading to a 4080, I ended up getting the RM1000X. I highly recommend Corsair's fully modular PSUs; they're great quality!
True, unless you're running an overclocked 13900K, a solid 750W from the Corsair RMX series would still be good enough for a 4080, which only pulls about 300 watts.

Right? It’s crazy how it lasted this long without issues.
