I'm the in-house IT for a dealership group with three locations, managing around 130 endpoints. We're finally planning to let go of our managed service provider (MSP) that's been around since before I joined. They primarily handle patch management but are moving away from IT support, which is pushing me to make this change. I'm a fan of NinjaOne, but they won't share pricing until we officially end our relationship with the MSP, who is currently using their services. In the meantime, what are some other remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions I could consider as alternatives? My main needs are patch management, remote monitoring, and remote access.

Pulseway has been my go-to lately! I just renewed my plan with them, and I love how easy it is to set up patch schedules. Their reporting features are nice as well.
Syncro surprised me with how well it performs! I've worked with a lot of major players in the RMM space, and I'd say Syncro is better than expected. But avoiding ConnectWise might be a good idea based on past experiences. Also, keep in mind Action1 is primarily focused on patch management rather than being a full RMM.
If you're looking for patch management and software compliance, you might want to check out Action1—they recently started allowing up to 200 free endpoints. I've found it to be a solid choice, and we're getting ready to deploy it in production soon. Also, many organizations have been using N-Able, so it could be worth a look too.
Datto RMM is another option you could consider. I've heard mixed reviews since Kaseya bought them, but it could still be a viable choice.
I use Level and have been really pleased with it! They've been great with their development and responding to issues. It might be worth checking out if you haven't heard of them before.
