New Gaming PC Shows Low Resolution – What’s Wrong?

I recently built a new PC that supports a 2560 x 1440 resolution, and here's my setup:
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5-14600K 3.5 GHz
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B760M DS3H WIFI6E
- **Memory**: Patriot Viper Venom 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Western Digital WD_BLACK SN7100 2 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: Gigabyte WINDFORCE GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB
- **Case**: Thermaltake Versa H18
- **Power Supply**: Apevia Prestige 800 W 80+ Gold
- **Monitor**: Dell Alienware AW2725DM 27.0" 2560 x 1440 180 Hz

The issue I'm facing is that all my games appear low resolution. It's hard to read text, the colors look off, and the overall quality seems worse than my previous 1080p setup. All other applications look fine, so it may be a configuration issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked which games are causing the issue? It might help to share a screenshot if possible. Also, make sure all your drivers are up to date for the best performance!

It sounds like you might have variable resolution settings enabled. Try checking your game settings and see if there’s something adjusting the resolution dynamically. And judging by your specs, this PC should definitely handle 1440p gaming just fine. You might also want to upgrade to 32 GB of RAM for smoother performance.
