I've built a PC about five years ago and opted for a Ryzen 5 5600G to save on costs at the time since graphics cards were pricey. Recently, I purchased an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT and installed it. While the graphics are working perfectly, I'm facing an audio issue. I'm not getting any sound when plugged into the GPU, but audio works when I connect one of my displays back to the motherboard instead. How can I resolve this and get sound to work from the GPU?

Make sure to install the correct drivers for your GPU. Sometimes, if the NVIDIA drivers aren't properly set up, it can cause audio issues too, especially if you're switching between different outputs. Also, check your audio settings in Windows—make sure your output device is set to the AMD GPU when using it.
First, you should check if your AMD Adrenalin software is up to date. It's also a good idea to adjust your TV settings if you're using it for audio—look for options related to headphone or aux settings. Sometimes, switching those can help with sound issues.
If you're still having issues, try doing a complete driver reinstall. Uninstall your existing audio drivers, then restart your PC. Windows should automatically reinstall them, which might fix the problem. Sometimes the drivers don't correctly link with the new GPU at first.

Thanks for the tip! The Adrenalin software is already updated, but I couldn't find those headphone settings on my TV. Also, in my PC's audio settings, my other speakers aren't showing up as options, and my Bluetooth earbuds keep disappearing when I connect them. The sound only works through my TV or monitor when I connect back to the motherboard.
