I'm trying to decide between the 5070 Ti and the standard 5070 for my gaming setup. I play a mix of games like Valorant, Fortnite, CS:GO, some Souls games, and a few AAA titles, mostly at 1440p. I'm not really interested in ray tracing, so I could use some help deciding which card would be best for my needs.

If ray tracing isn't a priority for you, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice, especially for AAA titles. It has more VRAM at 16GB compared to 12GB on the 5070, which should help keep your performance strong for longer.
The RX 9070 XT is another option worth considering. It's often cheaper and provides comparable performance to the 5070 Ti. So, if you're looking for better value while playing those titles, it might be the way to go.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into the pricing for the 9070 XT.
Price is a big factor here. If your budget allows, the 5070 Ti is great for future-proofing. But if you need to save a bit, the 5070 can still handle your gaming needs comfortably, especially for competitive titles.
If you're mostly playing those games, both cards are overkill. The 5070 should suffice, especially if you find it closer to MSRP. But if you're aiming for better future performance without ray tracing, the 5070 Ti is a good bet.
I'd also recommend thinking about the 9070 if you want more features and performance for a similar price as the 5070. Just be aware that you might run into some driver issues, but many users enjoy their AMD cards regardless.
I've had my share of driver issues too, but the performance usually makes up for it. Just do your homework on it!

Totally agree! The 5070 Ti has been surprisingly powerful for many games, especially if you're using DLSS to boost frame rates.
