I recently got my PC parts and during assembly, I accidentally used the screws meant for the PSU as motherboard standoffs. I managed to remove about 5 or 6 of them and replaced them with the correct ones, but I'm worried I might have damaged something. After that, I'm unsure how to proceed with connecting everything. Can anyone guide me on what steps to take next?

It’s actually pretty common to mix up screws, but you should be fine if the motherboard isn't damaged. Don't forget to refer to your motherboard manual; it’s a great resource for connecting everything properly. Plus, there are plenty of build videos that can give you a step-by-step walkthrough!
As long as you didn’t force the wrong screws too hard into the board, it’s likely not an issue. If you used screws that fit well and didn’t damage the holes, you should be all set. Just follow the guide and you’ll be good to go!
Using the PSU screws for the motherboard isn't a big deal as long as you got them out. Just make sure not to force any screws into the motherboard holes. For wiring, I’d suggest checking out some video guides. Linus Tech Tips has a great beginner’s guide that could really help you out!
Thanks for the recommendation!
Some of the screws were tough to get out for me too. Just take your time!
