Optimizing BIOS Settings for MSI B650 Gaming Plus with Ryzen 5 7500F

I'm having some performance issues with my PC, particularly a noticeable delay while playing Valorant. I'm looking for the best BIOS settings to tweak for maximum performance and minimal latency, but without diving into extreme overclocking. What should I adjust? I've heard about features like PSS support, NX mode, and global C-states. Would enabling EXPO and keeping everything else at default be enough? I can't find any good BIOS tutorials to guide me. For reference, my setup is an RTX 4070, Ryzen 5 7500F, and Goodram Irdm DDR5 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30.

It sounds like you might need to focus on CPU optimizations. Here are some settings you can try:

- Set Power Supply Idle Control to 'Typical Current Idle'.
- Disable Global C-State Control for better performance.
- Enable Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) but leave it on Auto.
- Make sure SMT (Simultaneous Multi-Threading) is enabled.
- Try disabling CPPC (Collaborative Power Performance Control) and CPPC Preferred Cores.
- Lastly, consider disabling PSS Support and Spread Spectrum to squeeze out more performance.
